The cringe. That fear of being judged and critiqued is so real. I had to face my own inner judgment and dig into the why behind it. But there’s power in vulnerability—it’s what really connects with people and pulls at their hearts. I’m glad you’re on a journey of sharing a bit of your soul to us.

Exactly, but as you mention, it is mostly us judging ourselves. Thank you for reading!

"The heart-shaped lock was once an essential item for me, symbolizing the importance of privacy as I navigated through my feelings. Now, my heart-shaped lock is no longer closed; it has transformed."

Highly relatable! When you started sharing your writing online what was the moment that helped you feel more open to sharing more personal aspects of yourself?

I'm happy you liked it, Sandra!

It wasn't a particular moment, but I slowly realized that I felt good sharing and that nothing terrible happens when I do. Then, progressively, I started sharing more and more.

Yes! Beautiful. I love this. "I choose to share because I feel powerful by sharing moments of vulnerability. By clicking "send to everyone now,"¹ I'm in control—unlocking strength."

Wow I loved this Catalina. Perhaps one of my favourite things you’ve written (which is a high bar).

So true how we think we’re being 200% vulnerable but it’s only 50% to other people. We think we’re unique when so much experience is shared. “Nothing human is alien to other humans”

Spoke to my soul :)

Thank you Tommy! Means a lot. I try to push myself to be more vulnerable every time. If I'm a little bit uncomfortable then it's a good sign :)

Love how this one turned out Catalina!

So true and so beautifully expressed:

“Yet, most of the time, in the end, your "soul's grand reveal" wasn't surprising, secret, or terrible at all. It was the part of you you thought you didn't show when, in reality, most of your acquaintances could already see those quirks from a mile away.”

Your writing here is an inspiration Catalina!
